THE OUTDOOR LIGHTING TOOLS BY B LIGHT PLAY THE LEAD IN A LIGHTING PROJECT FOR A PRIVATE VILLA
B LIGHT products play the lead in a lighting project, enhancing the external environment of a prestigious private villa. Four different products have been chosen – Maia, Maia ET, Agena 1 and Merope 140 AD – for their minimal design, refined finishes, high performance and purity of light.
A well-lighted garden allows extending a residence towards the outside and so it is of crucial importance, studying a light, which is both functional and taking care of the aesthetic dimension.
Starting from this assumption, B LIGHT studied two different types of lighting: the first one of functional character on the entry path, and the second one of scenographic character able to highlight a few main elements of the garden.
The lighting project is based on three different planning aims: the enlargement of the outside spaces fruition in the evening too, extending the pleasure of passing time in this area even after the sunset, the possibility of transforming the environment through light; in this way, the night becomes a special occasion to use the garden area in a different way: in fact, light shows images, perspectives and views which are not presumable during the day time’s light. Finally, artificial light becomes an aesthetic value factor of the garden able to create exiting lighting scenarios.
The natural stone of the pedestrian access was enhanced through the use of Agena 1, a grazing light lighting tool. The alternate arrangement on both sides of the access pathway allowed realizing a lighting design able to accompany guests to the entrance.
The high trees of the garden are illuminated from the bottom with Merope 140 AD, an outdoor recessed luminaire, with a stainless steel ring and adjustable lighting source. Thanks to its characteristics, Merope is able to make the plants appear from the shadow, enhancing them in their entirety and creating striking and eye-catching lighting effects.
Small bushes and trees are illuminated using Maia and Maia ET tools, adjustable in-ground projectors playing with light in a very precise and rational manner, which can enhance the green spaces beauty.
