Raiffeisen Bank – Mendrisio

THE LIGHT OF FUTURE IN THE NEW MENDRISIO BRANCH OF RAIFFEISEN BANK

A futuristic environment, where light interprets spaces, projecting them in a new dimension: it’s the new branch of Raiffeisen Bank in Mendrisio, illuminated by the lighting solutions of B LIGHT — leading producer of lighting luminaires. In an ultra-modernist space, inaugurated at the beginning of 2016 and designed by Studio Architettura CASALI&CASALI of Mendrisio with the collaboration of Luce Mania SA of Lugano for its lighting section, traditional banking services are relaunched in a hypermodern way, while keeping the bank’s solid professionalism and coordinated brand image.

Indoor elements are made of a new material composed of PMMA and CORIAN, called HI-MACS and produced by LG: a resistant and pliant composite, transparent and uniform, able to give shape to any project. The internal walls are supported by a strong steel structure: in this way panels, once closed, cannot be reopened; however, special extractable ceiling and floor elements have been designed for prospective LED maintenance. Lighting luminaires are, in fact, placed inside specific “rails” placed behind both walls and counters.

The areas with linear walls made the most of the wash effect of custom-implemented LINEAR TUBE HP 6 WALL — a linear and modular luminaire, dimmable and with a powerful wash of light, orientable via fixing brakets. A special outdoor variety of LINEAR TUBE — its 112 MINI SLIM RGB version — was selected to light up a small artificial waterfall, highlighting the iridescent and relaxing fountain with its alternating colorsATLAS MINI, architectural dimmable recessed luminaire, was installed both in the outdoor portico and in indoor areas, at specific distances: its light, able to create an enhancing lighting effect on small niches and objects, allowed the same illumination level of LINEAR TUBE HP 6 WALL on curved walls.

For this project, too, B LIGHT was able to offer lighting solutions in line with the architectural style of the new financial structure, with technologically advanced ideas, highlighting shapes and spaces without outdoing them.
